GANG OF TOES
Gang of Toes NFP is a 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to sharing dance, movement and music with people of all ages and abilities.
Gang of Toes is a non-profit charitable organization whose primary purpose is to provide interactive dance/music performances devised specifically to educate and stimulate the mental and physical health of participants, to organizations such as nursing homes, hospitals, adult day care centers, senior centers, park districts, assisted living centers, senior citizen housing, senior clubs, etc. As well as educating the audience about different styles of dance and different types of music and rhythm historically, these programs are interactive, getting the audience moving, clapping, singing and learning exercises they can do on their own to improve the health and well-being of their minds, bodies and spirits.
From 1998 through 2009 Gang of Toes, a dynamic group of dancers all over age 50, performed Dance On! and Ballroom Medley at nursing homes and other venues over 300 times.
Attention Activity Directors: We can provide chair exercise, range of motion classes, line & circle dancing, or drum circles, as well as educational and entertaining participatory music & dance performances for your facility! These can be ongoing classes, or one-time events. We can accommodate different levels of mobility.
